    Heather used to run a popular cafe in Kurrajong Village, loved by locals and visitors. A few years ago, she started a catering business that provides meals to families across the Hawkesbury District. Heather will collaborate with you to create delicious meals for your retreat, ensuring a memorable experience.

    Tenille Evans of Vegan Weddings and Events Catering is a big hearted, professional vegan caterr who enjoys sharing her catering for retreats and weddings.     Dora’s catering company Taste to Table was established in Bondi in 2018. She has recently catered retreats at Curraweena House and would love to do more of this style of catering - she enjoys the connection of the retreat group and bringing the retreat experience to life with her food.

    Growing up in an ethnically diverse home, food played a pivotal role in creating cherished memories. The blend of cultures and bonding over delicious food is unparalleled and a wonderful part of any retreat.

    Vale of Avoca Lookout

    Vale of Avoca Lookout offers glorious views across the deep gorges and wilderness of the Lower Grose Valley, in World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park.     Itchenstoke, Mt Tootie Road, Bilpin. This is an easy 7km walk and perfect for a large group because people can easily walk side by side and chat. Enjoy the mountain fresh air, with a gentle wide roadway with wide vistas of the mountains.   • Bilpin Farmers Market

    The Bilpin Farmers Market is a tiny community market in a quaint community hall it features fresh produce, home made cakes, jams and slices and sour dough bread.

    Tip: Bring cash as some of the stalls are cash only

    Tip: Best to be there early as it is small and fresh produce and bread sells out quickly.

My heart is full with gratitude when I am invited to serve retreat groups at the table of Curraweena House around the table. As a yogi myself, I treasure being part of a community coming together in retreat. I love supporting retreat leaders at Curraweena House.
